Reeve Benaron’s career has spanned across a variety of industries, including technology and the entertainment sector. He has founded, co-founded, or invested in numerous successful companies, including Viacom’s KIDZBOP and MTV2 Asia. Reeve is an early investor in Snapchat and a board member at Snapchat’s parent company, Snap Inc. He also serves as CEO of his own multimillion dollar venture capital firm.
Reeve Benaron was raised in Beverly Hills, California. He was educated at Plimoth Plantation School, Beverly Hills, California and Cathedral School of St. John the Divine in New York City, New York. He is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication and Marketing where he received a Bachelor of Journalism degree in 1994.
Later on, the successful businessman achieved a Master’s degree in 1995 and an MBA degree from New York University Stern School Business School in 2001. Reeve Benaron has been married to Abby Benaron since 2001. Together, they have two children. Reeve Benaron’s first business was in 1989 when he started a technology company.
This firm was focused on creating software for the Apple II computer, according to the successful business and healthcare expert Reeve Benaron. His company, later known as “Axion International”, made an operating system that would run on the IBM PC platform and it became a Microsoft Certified Partner. Benaron became the CEO at Axion International after selling his first company in 1992.
Benaron next founded a series of digital media companies including BioMedia Corp. and Double Fusion, Inc. Benaron served as CEO of Double Fusion, which was both a software company and a mobile advertising company. Double Fusion and its software was downloaded more than 500 million times and it had more than two billion page views a month before it was acquired by Facebook in 2010.
