Raffaele Riva

Raffaele Riva is the co-founder and partner of AUREA Multi-Family Office. Before founding Aurea, Mr. Riva held various roles in investments and asset management at European corporations. From 2001 to 2007, he was responsible for restructuring Cinven Group’s $8 billion portfolio, focusing on value creation and “smart investing” to improve performance structurally.

Mr. Riva managed an investment team with expertise in distressed corporate and financial situations worldwide during 2006-2007, predominately in Europe (ECB/IMF Program). In 2007, Mr. Riva co-founded Aurea and was responsible for the firm’s investment activities. Raffaele Riva has a strong track record of identifying attractive investment opportunities through an efficient and systematic approach.

His primary competence is asset management, focusing on distressed corporate and financial situations. Mr. Riva has a keen interest in European exposures, particularly in companies with attractive value attributes, such as tangible assets, cheap shares, and investments in undervalued industries.

Mr. Riva has profound knowledge of wealth and real estate planning. He has been involved in the deal structuring, restructuring, valuation, and financial modeling of numerous real estate assets. He advises institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals on investment strategy and asset allocation.
