Dr. Saad Saad retires with two medical inventions to his name

Dr. Saad Saad is now a retired pediatric surgeon but whose legacy will live on for many years to come. Most of his career time has been spent in New Jersey although he has spent some time in the Middle East serving as a private pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Royal family. Dr. Saad Saad is one of their best brains to come into the United States as an immigrant.

When he came into the country, he was determined to make it as a board certified surgeon. Given that he had come from a humble background, he was ready to work hard and achieve all his dreams. Looking back four decades later, it is true to say that he has accomplished this mission and surpassed expectations of many who knew him back then.

Dr. Saad was born in Palestine, but his family was evicted from their home due to violence that erupted in the area. They moved to Kuwait where they lived for years as refugees. In his teenage, his father pleaded with him to go back to school and work hard since education was the only route that could help the family to make something out of the needy situation.

Due to all the challenges that he had seen in this region, he did not take his father’s advice for granted. He went back to school studied very hard and qualified to join the Cairo University where he took a degree in medical studies. He was later invited to studying at the United States where he stayed on and practiced all his career life.

Due to the determination that he had when he came into the United States, it took him a very short time to become a board-certified pediatric surgeon. At the time, it was an arduous task for one to qualify as a board-certified professional due to the onerous regulations that were set by the industry regulators. This, however, was not enough to put him down since had seen much harder situations than the ones he was faced with in the United States. As he retires, he’s gone back home with his head high after making two significant inventions which will continue to shape the medical industry long after he’s gone. The first invention he made was the creation of an electromagnetic location device that is used to identify the position of a catheter inside the human body.

The second invention was that of improving the endoscope such that it had a suction system that would remove body fluids from the area under investigation. These two inventions will play a significant role in making surgical procedures easy to conduct. He has tested them and knows that they provide a solution that many medical practitioners need to carry out their duties.
