Joint replacement surgery is an absolutely vital procedure for people of all ages and physical conditions. Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum points to obesity as one of the major factors that lead to joint replacement procedures.

Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum believes that the best way to deal with joint replacement surgery is by avoiding the need for it altogether. Staying physically active and aware of your health can help to fight back against obesity. Additionally, contributing to non-profit organizations like The Arthritis Foundation can also help to inspire advancements within the industry. Orthopedic surgeons like Dr. Kirschenbaum rely on non-profits in order to fund their research, thus giving them the ability to change lives. Dr. Kirschenbaum believes in a proactive approach to health and progress, as evidenced by what he advocates above.

Dr. Saad Saad is now a retired pediatric surgeon but whose legacy will live on for many years to come. He has served in this profession for over 40 years offering great success to the children of the United States and other parts of the world. Learn more about Dr. Saad Saad: https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-saad-saad-ys6d8 and https://www.md.com/doctor/saad-saad-md

Most of his career time has been spent in New Jersey although he has spent some time in the Middle East serving as a private pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Royal family. Dr. Saad Saad is one of their best brains to come into the United States as an immigrant.

When he came into the country, he was determined to make it as a board certified surgeon. Given that he had come from a humble background, he was ready to work hard and achieve all his dreams. Looking back four decades later, it is true to say that he has accomplished this mission and surpassed expectations of many who knew him back then.

Dr. Saad was born in Palestine, but his family was evicted from their home due to violence that erupted in the area. They moved to Kuwait where they lived for years as refugees. In his teenage, his father pleaded with him to go back to school and work hard since education was the only route that could help the family to make something out of the needy situation.

Due to all the challenges that he had seen in this region, he did not take his father’s advice for granted. He went back to school studied very hard and qualified to join the Cairo University where he took a degree in medical studies. He was later invited to studying at the United States where he stayed on and practiced all his career life.

Due to the determination that he had when he came into the United States, it took him a very short time to become a board-certified pediatric surgeon. At the time, it was an arduous task for one to qualify as a board-certified professional due to the onerous regulations that were set by the industry regulators. This, however, was not enough to put him down since had seen much harder situations than the ones he was faced with in the United States. As he retires, he’s gone back home with his head high after making two significant inventions which will continue to shape the medical industry long after he’s gone. The first invention he made was the creation of an electromagnetic location device that is used to identify the position of a catheter inside the human body.

The second invention was that of improving the endoscope such that it had a suction system that would remove body fluids from the area under investigation. These two inventions will play a significant role in making surgical procedures easy to conduct. He has tested them and knows that they provide a solution that many medical practitioners need to carry out their duties.

Meet Dr. Eric Forsthoefel

Dr. Eric Forsthoefel is one of the most promising young ER physicians in the Southeastern United States. Educated at the University of Louisville and Louisiana State University, he has practiced in both Louisiana and Florida. Unlike many physicians, Dr. Forsthoefel has a broad background. In addition to understanding biological sciences, he also has a BS in Religion Studies. This has improved his ability to communicate and understand with average working people. Dr. Forshoefel is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Since 2012, when he started his residency, Dr. Forsthoefel has seen a lot. In the world of emergency medicine, everything can change in an instant. What was a slow day can quickly become a very busy one. During his career, Dr. Forsthoefel has learned to think on his feet and triage cases as best he can. He has become an expert at acute care, treating people with a variety of illnesses and traumas. He has diagnosed and treated broken bones and deep cuts. Dr. Forsthoefel is also experienced when it comes to cardiovascular issues like heart attack, stroke and more.

Dr. Forsthoefel practices at an emergency room in Tallahassee. During his time there, he has become a valued member of the local medical community. Though he focuses mostly on patient care, Dr. Eric Forsthoefel has also become something of an advocate for reform. He has noticed that many people in his community have come to rely on emergency rooms for situations that aren’t emergencies. This can create some real problems at his workplace.

To Dr. Forsthoefel, the issue isn’t that patients are being wasteful, or that they’re misinformed. The problem is overwhelmingly that people lack access to proper primary medical care. With access to a good primary physician or urgent care, people would be able to deal with small issues like ear infections and sprains without going to the ER. However, the way that the healthcare and insurance systems work in the United States can make it difficult for people to access or afford that kind of treatment.

Emergency rooms are required to treat every patient who presents. Dr. Forsthoefel has no problem with this. In fact, he always makes it a point to offer the best possible care to everyone. He tries to offer good customer service in addition to good medical care and advice. However, the strain on the resources at his emergency department is serious. Wait times are long. Another problem is that many of the patients who present are indigent. Because they can’t pay for services, prices for other patients necessarily go up to cover these costs. The middle class is getting squeezed; Dr. F sees this every day.

Dr. Forsthoefel is still in the first phase of his career. As the decades go on, he hopes to remain a force for good in the world of emergency medicine. His community of Tallahassee is also important to him. His patients appreciate the level of service he provides. He hopes to get even better with time.
